Gin Soaked boy are four lads from the Barnard Castle/Darlington area. Dave, Rob, Dazz and Dean all share similar musical influences which stand out in the gritty, up-beat yet lyrically honest nature of their indie/rock sound.
Dave has been a part of a few local bands including 'The Scarlets' and has worked with his brother before in the band, 'Easy.' He also writes songs for his solo project although that has gone on the back-burner now as Gin Soaked Boy have picked him up and swept him along!! No complaints though!!
Rob spent most of the last 5 years travelling and working abroad before returning home. He then waited for brother Dave to return from his wordly travels before deciding it was the time to put the band together.
A small advert in the NME brought Preston lad Daz, who currently resides in Darlington, into the fold as the bass player, and finally Dean joined the band as drummer after Nathan left to concentrate on his other band, The Scarlets.
Now, with a whole bunch of catchy rock tunes and a shit-load of energy, Gin Soaked Boy are taking the first steps on a journey of a thousand miles...
